Silver Persians available now.
Silver male kitten available, Born January 18th, 2009.
Please check other pages on my web sight to see young adults available for adoption.
This is a male Black Smoke kitten,
who was placed in a pet home in Miami earlier this year 09,
BLACK SMOKE PERSIANS, have black top coat, and white under coat,
and copper eyes.
They do come in different intensities of black top coats,
some are a lighter black,if not charcoal gray in color, with white under coat.
I personally prefer the dramatic look of intense dark black top coat and
white under coat. I try to breed my cats for this look, when it comes to
black smokes.
I do not breed my cats very often, if you are interested, in a kitty like this, email me
and let me know of your interest. vanleigh@bellsouth.net.

| WARNING: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A TOY OR TEACUP PERSIAN! There have been quite a few websites with silver and golden Persians popping up recently that claim to have toy or teacup size Persians for extraordinary prices for pet quality cats with questionable healthy bloodlines ($2000-$4000!). Do to color selective breeding silvers and golden's have always been a smaller division than other divisions/color of Persians because we can't really breed them to other colors freely without losing the special traits that makes them beautiful. Like another nationality or living on an island the silver and golden Persian are different but NO different then the so called tea cup Persian. An average silver or golden Persian female weighs 5-6 pounds. An average silver or golden Persian male weighs 7-9 pounds. Reputable breeders (those who show and are trying to improve the breed) are working to breed away from this small size as a Persian should be a medium to large cat. However the unscrupulous are banking on it by misleading unsuspecting pet owners into thinking this trait is rare, coveted, or new, and charging exorbitant amounts of money for their kittens. |
